There is no agony like hearing an untold story inside you ~ Zora Hurston

Dear Writer,

Revealed:

The secret to beating writer's block is literally at your fingertips.

If you’re serious about your fiction writing, then you owe it to yourself to read through this letter and see if this opportunity is right for you. (You might even like to print this letter out for ease of reading.) I appreciate that it's a long letter, but I need to give you all the information about this amazing block-busting secret.

I’d like to ask you this: Do you find that although you really badly want to write – indeed, you almost need to write, the desire is that strong – but still, you’ll do anything rather than write?

Does your heart sink at the prospect of sitting down at the keyboard? Do you immediately think of the laundry you need to do? Or the e-mail you were going to send to a friend? Or the walk you promised your dog?

Are you prone to sitting blankly at your computer, absolutely willing the ideas to come, but feeling like your brain is made of mush and there's this solid block between you and the ideas you just know are in there somewhere?

If this is your experience of writing, then you need to know that it isn’t your fault. It isn’t some character defect or lack of willpower. I will explain below exactly what is causing it, but for now, just know this:

Writing doesn’t have to be a struggle!

  • I know what it’s like to write happily and joyfully, to be always in the flow of writing.
  • I consistently experience actively looking forward to sitting down to write, secure in the knowledge that the writing will flow easily and clearly.
  • I love that delicious sense of anticipation as I wonder what my imagination will create today.
  • I know the absolute euphoria which comes when you get your first publishing contract.
  • I’ve felt the profound joy of holding my printed novel for the first time – like seeing your baby after it’s born.
  • I know the profound sense of achievement you feel at accomplishing your dream.
  • I know too the sense of quiet pride that comes from getting your novel published.
  • I've experienced how people admire you and look up to you when you're a published author.

And I would love to help you to know all this success too.

That's why I'm sharing this information with you today.

This magical block-busting tool is called EFT.

Allow me to tell you how it came to be:

In 1980 something amazing happened. On the face of it, it had nothing to do with writing novels, but as you read on you shall see how this amazing incident had massive and exciting implications for authors like you and me.

This is what happened:

A psychiatrist named Dr. Roger Callahan had been trying to cure a client’s water phobia for over two years, with no success. One day she complained of feeling nauseous at the thought of water. He knew a little bit about acupuncture and he suggested that she tap just under her eye (the acupuncture point for the stomach) to see if it would ease the nausea.

She did this and said, amazed, ‘It’s gone!’.

Dr. Callahan said, pleased, ‘The nausea’s gone?’

‘Yes,’ she said, ‘but so is the water phobia!’

As simply as that her life-time water phobia was gone!!

This was a woman who couldn’t take a bath, who couldn’t go out if it was raining, and here she was, now feeling totally okay about water. She was able to prove it by running out of the office and down to the edge of Dr. Callahan’s swimming pool where she trailed her hands in the water.

Naturally, Dr. Callahan immediately knew that he was onto something exciting here, and he explored further and developed TFT (Thought Field Therapy). This involved tapping different acupuncture points in a specific order depending on what the issue was. It worked extremely well, he was getting great results with all sorts of problems. However it was very complicated to use.

A few years later a Stanford-trained engineer and personal-performance expert named Gary Craig trained in TFT. From this he evolved the simpler, but equally effective, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). It involves tapping on every single one of twelve acupuncture points whilst speaking about your issue or problem in a specific way.

This was revolutionary!

EFT proved outstanding at doing two things, and doing them quickly and painlessly:

  1. Totally removing negative emotions such as fear, anger and so on. Literally, those feelings were gone, to be replaced by peace and calm.
  2. Removing mental blocks or limiting beliefs and replacing them with more empowering beliefs. In other words, literally re-programming our subconscious so that it works for us, rather than against us.

Are you beginning to see how powerful this is?

These two attributes turned out to have hundreds, if not thousands, of uses. EFT quickly became the technique of choice to solve all sorts of problems from phobias to traumas to addictions to overweight to headaches to allergies and many others.

Then it gets very, very interesting for writers!

Some people decided to try EFT for peak performance within the sports world. They reasoned: Surely it would help sports people with their mental game.

And, so it proved. EFT is becoming more and more the tool of choice for sportspeople serious about improving their game, and they are getting absolutely terrific results from it, seeing real and measurable improvements in their game.

But how, you might be wondering, does this link into writing?

Well, writer's block is an absolute function of negative emotions and limiting beliefs - the very things that EFT evaporates!

But how can our negative emotions and limiting beliefs stop us writing?

These issues and beliefs actually block us from writing because our subconcious thinks it's dangerous for us to write. These beliefs are below the level of our awareness, but they steer and guide our lives nonetheless. (This applies to everything, by the way, not just writing. But it's writing which concerns us now.)

It's true to say that, to the extent that your life/your writing is working well, your beliefs support you. And to the extent that those things are not working well, your beliefs are undermining you.

So if our subconcious thinks it's dangerous for us to write, it'll naturally do everything it can to stop us writing. And seeing as our creativity is lodged in our subconcious, it's in a very good position to block our writing.

What we need to do is to erase those beliefs about writing being dangerous to us, and install beliefs that writing is perfectly safe and indeed, beneficial, to us. Once that happens our subconcious - which is our friend and wants to help us - gets totally behind the writing project and so the writing will flow freely.

And EFT is the perfect tool to do that!

As a qualified and experienced EFT practitioner I’ve been using EFT for over four years, solving a large number of my own issues and those of friends, family and clients.

But as well, in 2003 I fulfilled my life-time dream of becoming a published novelist; indeed a best-selling published novelist.

So on the one hand I had the expertise and experience of EFT and how well it worked. And on the other I had experienced all the challenges and heartaches of being a writer.

It just seemed the next logical step …

... Would EFT work for writers?

Could it possibly eradicate all the causes of writers’ block?

Could it assist writers in getting into that magical place where the words just flow effortlessly and easily?

I explored and tested and found that yes, it certainly could do all this – easily, painlessly and efficiently!

I used this process to write my third novel, More Than Friends, in only three months! And the quality certainly didn’t suffer – More Than Friends reached No. 4 in the Irish bestseller list, and garnered reviews such as:

  • [Tracy has produced a gripping tale that will have the reader holding their breath as they follow [the heroine’s] journey.
  • It’s a fascinating story compellingly told.
  • It’s a truly excellent novel. I literally couldn’t put it down and almost finished it in one sitting.
  • Once I started reading it, I kept saying to myself, I’ll put it down after the next chapter, but was so enthralled by it that that didn’t happen.
  • Tracy is improving as a writer with each book and is easily becoming one of Ireland’s best authors.

I’ve shared all these his with you, not to impress you, but to impress upon you that writing quickly and easily doesn’t compromise on quality.

Naturally, this was so, so exciting! You don’t need me to tell you how major a breakthrough this was.

I realised that this was too good to keep to myself. I needed to share it with other writers.

The thing is though, that while the EFT tapping process is so simple that you can learn it in two or three minutes, there is one problem.

The problem is that you need to know what to say as you tap. You need to correctly identify those negative emotions and limiting beliefs which cause the blocks, and then tap on the points speaking about those issues.

So what I've done is this:

I wrote down all the problems, blocks and issues I had experienced in my career as a writer, and contacted over forty other authors asking them what their issues were. They were extremely brave and generous to share their issues, some of them quite personal and private, and I am so grateful for this.

The result of this was that I collected a comprehensive list of the issues, blocks and mental beliefs which hold writers back and stop them being able to do the very thing which they desire above all – to write.

Then I used my years of experience in EFT to write tapping scripts for each issue. So you don't have to worry about what to say - you just follow along with the script.

I have compiled this into a book called Unleash The Writer.

It could not be easier to use!

This sounds great! I want to buy it now!

The issues I identified (over 70 of them!) fell into nine categories of blocks:

  • Fear of Failure
  • Fear of Success (This is a very sneaky one, with all sorts of implications.)
  • Fear of Rejection
  • Fear of Losing Control
  • Fear of Feeling Strong Emotions
  • Fear of Writers’ Block (A self-fulfilling prophesy if there ever was one!)
  • Limiting Beliefs
  • Difficulty with aspects of the craft of writing itself, including actual Writers’ Block
  • Symptoms of the above, e.g. resistance to sitting down and writing.

These nine categories manifest in over 70 sneaky negative emotions and limiting beliefs. Now, not all of them will apply to you. But many of them will. I'll show you how to identify which ones do apply to you.

So, here's the process:

  1. You go through the scripts, and using my 'Human Pendulum' method, you find out which of them apply to you.
  2. You tap on the acupuncture points (easy to do and full instructions are given) until the old limiting beliefs and negative emotions are totally gone, and the new empowering belief is installed. This process can take as little as a few minutes, up to maybe tens of minutes per issue if it's deeply entrenched. Once the issue is sorted, it's sorted forever though.
  3. You write freely and joyfully.

EFT will stand to you forever too. If you get a rejection in the future - just tap away the sting of it until you are calm and strong, and find it easy to send your manuscript out again.

It’s a foolproof step-by-step process. Just follow the instructions and eliminate the block.

Yes, it really is as simple as that!

After working through Unleash The Writer you will be free of issues such as:

  • Who do I think I am to be a writer? That’s what other people do, not me.
  • I have a little voice constantly running me down and criticising my work.
  • Other writers are so much better than I am, so there’s no point doing this.
  • I’ll be letting everybody down if I don’t make a success of this.
  • They'll be jealous of me and not like me if I do make a success of this.
  • It’ll be such a waste of time if I don’t succeed.
  • I can’t make myself sit down and write.
  • I get so easily distracted.
  • And 70-odd others – covering everything  which comes between you and your work.

YES PLEASE! Let me have Unleash The Writer.

You know, it might seem counter-intuitive, but now is a really good time to pursue your writing career. The publishing industry tends to do well in recessions as books are cheap sources of leisure.

The odds of success are not as bad as you might think either. You may have heard that only 1-2% of submitted manuscripts will ever be published, and that's true.

However ...

... the odds for well-written, credible, manuscripts are much, much better.

The editor Teresa Nielsen Hayden breaks down the various percentages in her famous Slushkiller article. 75% of manuscripts are rejected for reasons ranging from the author being functionally illiterate (yes, really!), through to 'the story and the manner of its telling are alike hackneyed, dull, and pointless'.

Another 20% of novels are rejected because either the author is working out their emotional problems through the book, or is boringly written, or has an over-used plot.

And that leaves only 5% of credible manuscripts fighting for publication. So you've really got a 1-in-5, or 20% chance of publication - with that particular publishing house. You would have an equally good chance with the other publishers.

So now is a really good time to pursue your dream. (Well, it's always a good time to pursue your dream. But now is especially good.)

Do you imagine what it would be like to hold your own published novel in your hands? If so, what are you waiting for?

To get published, you need to:

  1. Finish your novel,
  2. Make it an outstandingly excellent novel,
  3. Send it out to agents and publishers, and keep sending it out until you find an agent.

Unleash The Writer will help you accomplish all three stages:

  1. It helps you finish the novel without sabotaging yourself.
  2. It opens the door to your creativity so that the work is as good and innovative as it possibly can be.
  3. And it helps you so, so much through the challenging process of finding an agent.

You may well be wondering what price I’m charging for Unleash The Writer.

Well, how much would it be worth to you to have the key to your creativity? To have the ability to write easily and well all the time?

I bet that that figure you're thinking of is a huge multiple of what I'm actually charging.

Truly, I cannot ever pick a price which reflects its true value.

After all, how do you possibly put a value on enabling somebody to achieve their life-time dream?

How do you put a price on the joy and satisfaction of being able to write happily without hindrance, when it has been struggle and effort up till now?

You can’t, can you? Achieving your dream is priceless.

So I realise that whatever I charge will be an exceptional bargain compared to the value contained in the book.

I thought €67.00 would be fair. A meal for two in a restaurant maybe. But I really want everybody to be able to have this book, to make it a level playing field so that every writer can achieve his/her potential.

How would I feel if there was a tool I needed, which would transform my whole writing experience, and I wasn’t in a position to buy it?

I wouldn’t like that, and I couldn’t do it to others.

So after much thought I decided on a price of only €37.00 (appx £32.00 or $45.00). This means that for the cost of less than an hour of my time as an EFT practitioner, you get access to years of learning and training, and months and months of my work in writing the book.

This price is for everything included in Unleash The Writer:

  • The truth about how your mind is actively trying to stop you writing (and why it thinks it’s helping you by doing so!). This is why it’s not our fault – it’s your mind blocking you.
  • How to convert this creativity-assassin into your biggest ally!
  • Detailed instructions for EFT – the amazing tool which is our secret weapon for defeating writers’ block.
  • Over 70 comprehensive Scripts to simply evaporate everything which is blocking you. (And in the unlikely circumstance that you have an issue which is not covered, then I’ll write a Script just for you! Details in Unleash The Writer.)
  • A score-chart so you can track your progress and see how far you’ve come.
  • How you can use Ritual and Intention to help your writing (and no, it’s nothing mysterious or magical. It’s as down-to-earth as you can get. It's about harnessing the way the mind works).
  • The method for getting to know your characters intimately so you can portray them as fully rounded people. (Even when it seems like they will never come real).
  • How to look after your brain so it works well for you (and what on earth sunflower seeds have to do with quality writing!).
  • How to use visualisation to literally train your subconscious into being a writer.
  • How a kitchen timer can be your best friend (and it’s nothing to do with cooking!)
  • Free subscription to my monthly newsletter which includes regular writing tips and resources

I'm sure you'll agree that €37.00 for all this is very good value.

HOWEVER ...

I understand that this is a challenging time, and I don't want to put writing success out of anybody's reach. So for a limited time I am selling Unleash The Writer for:

€37.00

€27.00

(And, as a courtesy, fif you choose, for just €10.00 more, we'll print it and post Unleash The Writer to you in hard-copy.)

Unleash The Writer is covered by a full 90-day money-back guarantee. If at any time during those three months you are not 100% satisfied, just let me know and I'll give you a full no-quibble refund of the book cost - just for the asking.

And even more: you can then keep Unleash The Writer, and the bonuses (detailed above) with my compliments, as my thanks for having tried it out.

Now, I can't say fairer than that!

Look, don't decide now.

Just get Unleash The Writer, look it over, and decide in your own time if you're going to keep it.

The advantages of purchasing Unleash The Writer now are:

  2. You're definitely locking in the special-offer price of €17.00

  4. You're getting ahead of the other would-be writers who are stalling in various ways. Or at least keeping up with those who aren't stalling.

So, now it’s over to you. As you consider what I've said here, I invite you to think about the money-back guarantee – There truly is absolutely no risk to you if you choose to buy. Buy it, try it, and get your money straight back into your pocket if it doesn't work for you.

TESTIMONIALS

Dear Tracy,
I've had a chance to look at your ebook and it is amazing work. I love it.
You are very insightful and cover a wide range of the emotional problems that people may have related to writing.
I found I had some emotional intensity for at least 80% of the statements. Well done.
I just wanted to relate a quick success story that has to do with your ebook. A long time writer friend of mine was having great difficulty with writer’s block. She hadn’t written anything new in over a year and was feeling very stuck. I called her up and we tapped on the phone for about an hour using your book to guide us and going wherever things turned up.
She felt much better when we finished, but what I found most remarkable was that over the next month she wrote over 12000 words. I asked her if she wanted to continue with the tapping, but she says the ideas seem to be just pouring in at the moment. So there you are. A success story.

I found the beginning series of taps and scripts very helpful because they enabled me to truly acknowledge how hurt I was [at the devastating comments from my writers' group]. It was good for me to repeat again (and again!) the depth of my feelings.

The final part of the script where I was replacing the negatives with the positives was very interesting. As you suggested might happen, I was unable to say one or two of them at first as I didn't believe they were true.

But I paused for a moment, and thought about them, and then realised 'Hey, yeah that IS true!' and continued to [use the EFT]. When I'd finished at least half an hour of continual tapping I felt calmer.

Light dawned for me when I realised that I am writing for myself and God, not for anyone else. So it doesn't matter what they think. I have been fine ever since.

Dear Tracy

I just wanted to thank you for the help EFT gave me with my novel. I was very resistant to doing anything with the manuscript I’d been working on. I was unable to move it forward for the past two years and this was creating a lot of discomfort for me in terms of frustration and self-esteem.

When I had my EFT session with you it seemed to unblock what was stuck and unable to move.

So I was delighted after my session with you to find that the negative thoughts about my work seemed to have dissipated, and the energy block did seem to have dissolved.

I now feel much more energized and positive about sending out my manuscript to publishers and agents.

 TESTIMONIALS

As the time for my first book launch approaches, I'm having worries about the calibre of my writing and how it will be compared to other writers.
I turned to lesson 6 in my Unleash the Writer and tapped out the scripts with amazing success. After only ten minutes, I'd accepted my writing voice as being unique to me. I also let go my worries and allowed myself to be proud of my work.
I'm now looking forward to seeing Love Match (my first novel) on the shelves without any worries ruining this time for me.

Dear Tracy,
I just recently bought your e-book, and I think I've already had a small success with it.
This was #3 in your scripts (Who Do I Think I Am Even Trying to Write a Book?). I did the leaning forward/back thingy, and I was surprised when I leaned forward on this one. Then came the unbelievable part, when I started doing the tapping. I started crying. Gushing, in fact. I couldn't stop for a couple of minutes.
It dredged up a memory I hadn't thought about in a few years.
It was a memory of a girl back when I was 13 or so, and her telling me, in so many words, that I had no business writing a book (even back then, I had an inkling writing was something I wanted to do!). She said it in a very condescending way.
I can honestly say that I was in a major rut with my current WIP, but I've gotten back to it. I'm completely rewriting it in another POV (from 3rd to 1st), and although it seems somewhat daunting, I'm enjoying it now, I'm having fun with it now! Woo hoo! :-)
Thanks for the e-book - seems like it came at just the right time for me. Nancy, by e-mail

Dear Tracy,

I'm finding it such a treat to tap along with your scripts and though only 15 minutes thus far into it, have already reaped some freedom emotionally.....Well, lots more tapping to do, but wanted to share that and additional thanks to you for creating such a wonderfully valuable product.

All the best to you and your own endeavors, writing and otherwise,
Peter, by e-mail

Hi Tracy,

Just wanted to say thank you so much for your e-book on using EFT for
Writers Block. *Wonderfully* helpful.

I'd always thought of writer's block as not knowing what to write next and running dry on ideas. But I suddenly realised the other week that (even tho my problem is definitely not about lack of ideas or knowing what I want to write) I'm stuck in a classic case of severe and long-term writer's block. I've managed to push myself past it by sheer
willpower but even that is no longer working (a snowballing effect, the more I push past the repressed feelings, the more exhausted I get afterwards, so the harder it gets to approach it the next time... and the less physical energy I have for writing, the faster the doubts multiply that I'll ever finish it, so the more I have to repress those doubts, and the harder it becomes, and so on..).

Anyway, it was wonderful to be able to google 'EFT Writer's Block' and find your terrifically resource-rich book. I think it's going to help me a lot as I slowly work my way through it. I've used EFT for several years, for a wide range of issues, and I know how incredibly effective it can be.

I look forward to discovering what it might be like to write one day without so much inner conflict and resistance. It's an exciting thought!

best wishes,
